I Love Loving You!
4 months ago, today, I was married to my best friend. I know, it's only been 4 months,
but on Friday will be a year from when we got engaged. So this is a combo post! The last year, has been the best of my life. No matter what ups or downs I have faced, I have faced them with an incredible support system. I smile just knowing that I no longer face the world alone and all by myself. i have someone in my corner cheering me on, in whatever I do. I felt that way as soon as I started dating Michael. But being married brings on a new sense of family, and comfort and my safe place. As a lot of you know, when I first met "Mike" I was only interested in a friendship. I was not interested in dating whatsoever. Bless his heart for being a cool guy and just trying to be my friend until one day in July, I finally met "Michael". Now you are probably wondering, aren't they the same dude? NO WAY JOSE! Mike was shy, quiet, and a cool guy. Michael was the life of the party, hilarious, confident and sexy. Once I met the real Michael Joseph I couldn't help but love him. He captured my attention, but mostly my whole heart. I am so lucky to be with a man that loves me for all my strengths and all my weaknesses, tells me I'm beautiful (a girl can never hear too much of this...even when you are married) but most importantly makes me feel loved and appreciated on a daily basis.

Suggie Woogie
I love Sugar (yes candy, but in this case I mean my lab!) I love going home to CA and every time we do, we always take my doggy to the dog beach. I have recently been WANTING/SALIVATING over getting a new camera...
a super duty amazing one (Mark 2 Canon). My mom has one similar, so she was
nice enough to let me borrow hers and take some fun pics of the sugster!
I think some of them came out so cute! She is
OBSESSED with playing catch. She would go out as far as we would
throw the ball and bring it right back to us. She did this for almost 2
hours non-stop and yet probably could have kept going for more.
The dog never stops. Endless amounts of energy!

The Mother I Hope to Be!
Mom,
Where do I even start? Today you are 56, but you don't look a day over 35! :) I wish that I had pictures from when I was younger to help illustrate just how amazing you have been as a mom and best friend. From the time I was born, I know just how much I meant to you. I am sure that I was a lot to handle and gave you a few scares along the bumpy road, but really all I was doing was preparing you for KAIT!! :) Thank you for loving me and helping me grow up more every year. You were always patient, but when you "had it up to here" I knew you meant business! Thanks for blessing me with your athletic ability, and love for sports! I loved having you be my coach when I was little, and you helped me get on the best teams I possibly could! Thank you for blessing me with your personality and sense of humor! Basically my life comes down to this....I am your clone 30 years later. I have your mannerisms, we look identical at all stages of life up until this point, I think like you, I sound like you, and one day I TRULY HOPE I can be a mom like you. You are supportive, caring, understanding, selfless, beautiful (inside and out) funny, athletic, talented, creative, strong, spiritual, and one amazing example to not only me, but everyone around you. You inspire me to be a better person on a daily basis despite living hundreds of miles apart. Heavenly Father gave me an amazing gift, when I was born to you and dad. I am hoping when we have kids that you can teach me all your secrets about being a mom, because if I even do half as good of a job as you, cuz' i mean let's be honest here, I did turn out pretty fab ;), then my kids will be pretty much awesome! You are my best friend and I love you with all of my heart! Thank you again for being an amazing woman, who I one day hope to be!

I think for a while she felt like she was losing her little girl, but really she was gaining an amazing son-in-law! :)

2 weekends ago my big bro got MARRIED! He had been waiting to find his special lady for quite sometime, so as you can imagine, when the day finally arrived he was beaming from ear to ear with utter happiness!
These cute lil' girls are our nieces! They are the cutest, smartest and craziest girls you will ever meet! But they sure are a blast to be around!

Michael was excited to go to CA, not only for the wedding, but because the angels were in town! He is a HUGE Dodger fan, but always looks to see when the Halo's play, when we are planning a trip! I think I will have him converted slowly over time!
